LSU’s search for its first commitment in the 2025 men’s basketball recruiting class continues, but it remains in contention for several of its top targets and will soon welcome one of them back for an official visit.
Tigers made shortlist for four-star offensive lineman Matt Gilhol, who is the 77th national player. Gilhol has already set a trio of official visits starting with Georgia Tech (August 31), followed by LSU (September 7) and Iowa (September 14), according to On3.
Gilhol already took an official visit to Syracuse last October. On3 currently considers the Orange the favorites, although they are not in the top seven.
LSU appears to have some ground to make up for the Elizabethtown, Pa., prospect, but will have a chance to do so when it hosts it in the fall.
