This weekend was the last recruiting period before a dead period, and Ohio State football did not host a reunion like many other schools did.
This opened up time for some 2025 Buckeye commitments to visit other schools and defensive commitments, Zion Grady, was one of them. The 80th overall player in the country, according to the 247Sports Composite Ratings I took a trip to Auburn on Saturday.
Rivals reporter Bryan Matthews wrote a story stating that he felt the Tigers “have a good chance” of landing the 6-foot, 4-inch, 235-pound star.
As Lee Corso said, “not so fast, my friends,” as Grady cited history and stated that he is “1000% trapped.”
If I had to guess the reason for the trip was to tag along with one of his best friends, 2025 Auburn commit Malik Autry. Ohio State is actively trying to change the defensive stance and Grady is just trying to help with those efforts.
