The Texas Tech football team committed Friday to Braylan McDonald, a defensive back from Lancaster who had committed to Washington State.
The 5-foot-10, 185-pound McDonald will be a senior in high school this season. In addition to Tech and Washington State, he has drawn scholarship offers from Boston College, Texas-El Paso, Texas State, Arkansas State and Bowling Green, according to recruiting services.
He announced for Tech on social media.
The Red Raiders now have 18 commitments for their 2025 class that could be signed in December. McDonald is the fourth defenseman in the class.
