Wimbledon is set to begin with Carlos Alcaraz, Emma Raducanu and Coco Gauff on the schedule

WIMBLEDON, England – O 2024 edition of Wimbledon is scheduled to begin on Monday, with defending champion Carlos Alcaraz and former Grand Slam winners Coco Gauff and Emma Raducanu set to play matches on Center Court.

Alcaraz just won his third major championship at the French Open three weeks ago.

He defeated Novak Djokovic in last year’s Wimbledon final. Alcaraz faces qualifier Mark Lajal of Estonia on the first day on the grass courts of the All England Club.

Raducanu won the 2021 US Open at age 18 but has dealt with several injuries since then. She meets Ekaterina Alexandrova, number 22, on Monday.

Gauffwho won the US Open last September, closes the day’s schedule in the main stadium against Caroline Dolehide, in a 100% American clash.

Jannik Sinner ranked first is also on Monday’s schedule, facing Yannick Hanfmann on Court No. 1.
