BERLIN — Sports fans: How’s that for a Super Sunday?

Start with the men’s singles final in Wimbledonso watch football European Championship title fight between Spain and Englandbefore ending the day with Copa America football piece: Argentina against Colombia.

From London to Berlin and on to Miami over 13 hours, it’s a day of first-class sports to enjoy.

Quite a cast too.

Carlos Alcaraz and Novak Djokovic will have another clash at the All England Club, a rematch of the end of 2023.

Spaniard Lamine Yamal, football’s newest star who has just turned 17, against Jude Bellingham and Phil Foden at the Olympiastadion.

Then, the great Lionel Messi – back for another grand final for Argentina, 19 months after taking the team to World Cup title – in what could still be his swan song at an international tournament at Hard Rock Stadium.

The men’s singles final will take place at 2pm local time (9am EDT). In Friday’s semifinals, Alcaraz beat Daniil Medvedev in four sets and Djokovic eliminated Lorenzo Musetti in three. Alcaraz beat Djokovic in five sets in last year’s final to win his first Wimbledon title and second Grand Slam trophy overall. If it takes that long again, armchair fans won’t have to wait long until the football doubleheader starts. The women’s singles final takes place on Saturday and will be between Jasmine Paolini and Barbora Krejcikova.

Spain vs England will kick off at 9pm local time (3pm EDT), and could be the crowning moment for Yamal in his breakthrough tournament, which the Barcelona winger played in most years as a 16-year-old. He turns 17 on Saturday. Spain start as favorites after winning all six Euro 2024 games and are looking to win the title for a record fourth time. England, the birthplace of football, is in the second consecutive European Championship final and is fighting for its first major title since the only one so far – the 1966 World Cup.

The title fight between Argentina and Colombia will start at 8pm local time (00am GMT on Monday). It should still be hot and humid for Messi, 37, and Argentina, who are looking to win a record 16th Copa América title – breaking their 15-all tie with Uruguay. Argentina are the defending champions after winning in 2021, so they are looking for a third consecutive major tournament title. Colombia’s only Copa América title came in 2001 – and that was the last time the team was in the final.

If all that still isn’t enough for you, there’s a bit more sport going on to fill the time. There’s golf all day at the Evian Championship, the fourth women’s championship of the year, and the Scottish Open, where Rory McIlroy, Xander Schauffele and Ludvig Aberg are among the stars, preparing for the British Open. Plus there’s the 15th stage of the Tour de France if you like cycling.
