Let’s talk about Dont and Wicks and I’ll say this as we go along, Ryan, I’m one of the Dont Wicks.
Uh, brothers. Okay, I really like Wix.
I think he is a very good player.
So tell us why he makes this list from a positive point of view with Wix.
Uh, he had the 13th best first downs per route, uh, of any wide receiver last year.
Then this will immediately catch your attention.
I personally have done a lot of work on the age curves for wide receivers, uh, which is basically the short of the long and the short of that, most wide receivers emerge in their first three seasons.
Uh, sophomore year is a very frequent breakout season for wide receivers.
So whenever I see a rookie receiver that’s in the top 15 of a really predictive stat, I get excited and say, okay, I should, I should probably get a little more familiar with this guy’s game, right?
He only had a 50% route share in seven games as a rookie in those games.
Average of 37 arts received per game, just over nine P Pr Fantasy points per game.
Both brands were actually better than Jackson Smith and Jeba last year.
I think wi will be an incredible late round pick in most reworked regular Fantasy leagues.
I wonder if we’re getting a little excited early on as a community because of him.
But I, but yes, this is a situation that I also really like.
Uh ambiguity in this wide receiver core.
I see it as a positive that there isn’t really an established alpha here.
So yeah, that’s the kind of bet I want to make on a second-year wide receiver who has excelled in efficiency stats and has a lot of ambiguity in his situation.
The big takeaway here is that Dantan Wicks is good.
He’s as good at football as I am from a reception awareness standpoint, he checks a ton of boxes that I look for, he’s starting to look like a guy we should be really interested in and like, I know how people go say that and , and I’m sure there are some Twitter bros who are just trying to ride the algorithm wave and want to go viral with their latest trend Ont and Wicks.
But like, believe me, people who watch movies have been talking about Wick like since the season and, and it’s important that he shows up in, in me like this and just for comparison’s sake, Dont Wicks among the players who have run 100 routes in the last year.
He’s 18th in yards per route.

Tank Dell is 17th.
When you look at first descents by route run.
Tank Dell is 14th, Dont Wicks is 13th Ryan.
Then you look at the best P-ball ad you know, Tank Dell is the 54th player off the board and Don Taban Wicks is 157th off the board.
I know the situations are not the same.
It’s like, yeah, I’m with you, we might be getting a little over our skis with Don Taban Wicks if the hype goes too far.
But there’s a reason the hype exists, and like a 100 difference in the ad p of these two players, um, who are tied to good defenders, maybe it’s not entirely justified.
