PATRICK Mahomes might be the best football player on the planet.

But even the three-time Super Bowl champion has his limits.

The Kansas City Chiefs shared a video of their superstar quarterback trying to play linebacker.

He lined up in front of a coach as fourth-string signal-caller Ian Book moved to center.

Mahomes tried to pressure, but couldn’t get rid of the blocker.

He jumped to try to catch the pass, but was unable to make the play and left laughing.

The subtitled bosses their video“The technique needs to be improved” with a crying and laughing emoji.

“Linebacker 1 from Texas Tech,” replied one fan.

“This guy,” added another with a laughing emoji.

“Let’s take the red kingdom,” wrote a third.

Chiefs coach Andy Reid said Mahomes will participate in his first preseason game.

The Chiefs will play the Jacksonville Jaguars at TIAA Bank Stadium tomorrow.

Fans should expect to see Mahomes and Travis Kelce in the first quarter.

“As far as playing time for this game, we’re going to go with a quarter,” Reid said.

“Two for the second quarter, three for the third and four for the fourth, and we’ll keep it that way.”

Mahomes is eager to get some playing time in the first preseason game.

Patrick Mahomes Endorsements

Patrick Mahomes earns more than $50 million per season from his contract with the Kansas City Chiefs.

But the superstar quarterback also profits from his brand off the field.

Mahomes has a reported net worth of $70 million.

And that’s largely due to some of the brands he endorses.

The Chiefs star is the face of Adidas in the United States and appears in State Farm commercials.

He also appears in advertisements for Subway and Head and Shoulders.

Mahomes also became the face of the Prime energy drink, owned by Logan Paul and KSI.

“It’s cool, I like playing in the preseason, honestly,” Mahomes said.

“Making sure we’re doing things the right way and keeping everyone healthy and playing the sport I love.

“Hopefully we can go out there and play a good game of football.

“I always want to get hit, but not a hard hit. A little push, that’s all I need.”

Reid is confident the offense will pick up right where it left off after winning its second straight Super Bowl.

“Listen, I allow him (Mahomes) to get into the swing of things. Those who know how to do it, both sides of the ball,” Reid said.

“Somewhere you have to get out there and shoot and this gives him the opportunity to do that.”
