NFL star Rondale Moore has been ruled out of the entire 2024 season after suffering a horrific knee injury.
The Atlanta Falcons forward was taken to the hospital after the devastating hit during a preseason exhibition game with the Miami Dolphins.
Moore, 24, received a cast on his right leg after collapsing in the left corner of the end zone during 11-on-11 practice.
Players from both teams knelt as medical staff worked on the former Purdue receiver.
Moore was taken off the field and immediately transferred to the Baptist Health medical center near Miami Gardens, Florida, for ESPN.
Joint training was halted after the incident.
“Thoughts and prayers are with Rondale,” shaken Falcons quarterback Kirk Cousins told reporters.
“I’m not sure what’s going on, but I hope it’s not serious.”
Now he has been placed on the season-ending reserve list.
“It’s heartbreaking,” added Falcons defensive lineman Grady Jarrett.

Moore joined the Falcons this offseason in a trade with the Arizona Cardinals.

Moore was selected with the 49th overall pick in the 2021 NFL Draft.
He spent three seasons in Arizona, catching 135 receptions for 1,201 yards and 3 touchdowns.
Moore came to the Falcons in March in a trade that sent quarterback Desmond Ridder to the Cardinals.
He was listed as a backup option on the Falcons’ latest depth chart at both wide receiver and kickoff returner.
In a separate move, Atlanta re-signed punter Ryan Sanborn.
