MIAMI Dolphins wide receiver Tyreek Hill said he could beat Team USA sprinter Noah Lyles in a race.

The NFL star also cast doubt that the Olympic gold medalist in the 100-meter dash contracted Covid before finishing third in the 200-meter dash at the Paris Olympics.

Hill, 30, made the bold claim when speaking about Lyles’ infamous comments about the world champions in an interview with Kay Adams on Monday.

Last year, the track and field star questioned whether NBA title winners should call themselves world champions after a triumph in a national competition.

“Noah Lyles can’t say anything after what happened to him,” Hill said.

“So he wants to go out and pretend to be sick. I feel like this is horseradish.

“For him to do that and say that we are not world champions in our sport?

“Just talk about what you know. And that’s okay.”

Adams then asked Hill if he would consider challenging Nyles to a race when he returned from Paris.

“I would beat Noah Lyles,” replied the Dolphins player.

Hill said the race would likely be close, but insisted he would beat the Virginia native.

“And guess what,” continued the All-Pro wide receiver, known for his lightning speed.

“When I beat him, I’m going to put on a Covid mask and tell him I’m serious.

“Because I mean it.”

Lyles had trouble breathing after the 200 meter final before leaving the track in a wheelchair.

After the news of his Covid diagnosis spread, he withdrew from the men’s 4×100 meter relay.
