TOM Brady ran across the lake to watch a thrilling football game in Madrid.
The NFL great was a guest speaker at the EXMA conference in Florida on Saturday night and appeared in Madrid yesterday.
He watched Real Madrid beat Barcelona 3-2 in a spectacular game with lots of final drama.
“Hi everyone, I’m here at the Bernabeu,” Brady said in an Instagram clip.
“What a great place to watch El Clasico. The sport is amazing. I can’t wait to see the NFL play here next year.
“I’m here at the Laureus Awards tomorrow night. Let’s go.”
Brady made the most of his relative anonymity in Europe by putting together a SCOOTER through the streets of Madrid.
And he had the opportunity to meet players – including England star Jude Bellingham, who scored the winning goal – in the dressing room.
Vinicius Junior also greeted the New York Patriots icon after pretending to throw a football to celebrate the goal.
The NFL is growing in popularity in Spain and Real’s home, the Bernabeu, will host a regular season game in 2025.

Brady’s interest in football led to him becoming co-owner of English second division club Birmingham City – the place where Bellingham began his career.
Brady told fans: “I’m officially joining Birmingham City Football Club.
“And maybe you’re asking ‘what do you know about English football, Tom?’
“Well, let’s just say I have a lot to learn.
“But I know a few things about winning and I think they translate really well.
“I know that success begins with the work done when the world isn’t watching. I know that a team is nothing without the city that appears and is behind it.
“The most important thing is that I know that I like being the underdog. It’s been a long road for Birmingham, but these fans have never stopped believing.
“We have a song that says no matter what you keep going until the end of the road and I’ll be on that road with you.
“See you in St Andrews soon – it’s time to get to work. Let’s go.”

JJ Watt in football
Another former football star surprised even himself with a newfound passion for football.
Former NFL Defensive Player of the Year JJ Watt invested in Premier League team Burnley last year.
“I can’t explain how deeply in love I am with [the project at Burnley]”, Watt told Gary Neville’s Sky Bet podcast, Stick to Football.
“I knew I would, but I didn’t realize at this level, how much I would care and love interacting with these people.
“Even when I’m not [in the UK]and I’m in Arizona, waking up at 4am for a game – it’s really all taken care of.
