Alabama cornerback Kool-Aid McKinstry will likely be drafted in the second round tonight.

Kool-Aid, whose real first name is Ga’Quincy, became known as one of the best cornerbacks available in the NFL Draft.

During his three seasons at Alabama, he racked up 93 tackles, five tackles for loss, two sacks and two interceptions.

He was also a valuable special teams contributor as a punt returner.

Reporter Laura Rutledge asked the NFL mom, “Sondra, how far has this family come?”

This caused Sondra to give a literal answer to the question when she said, “We come from Baton Rouge, Louisiana.”

Rutledge quickly changed the subject after the awkward moment – but fans were left in hysterics by Thomas’ mother’s response.

“Rutledge knew what she asked, she just wanted them to know,” one wrote.

“Something so healthy about the response,” commented another.

“She’s not lying,” said a third.

Falcons coach references the ‘Green Bay model’

Atlanta Falcons head coach Raheem Morris talked about signing Michael Penix Jr. in last night’s shocking draft pick.

“The Green Bay model was something we talked about,” Morris said.

The Green Bay model refers to the Green Bay Packers drafting Jordan Love in the first round of the 2020 draft – despite still having quarterback Aaron Rodgers on the roster.

“I was proven right last year. Hopefully we’ll be OK with them.”
