TRAVIS Kelce will be joined by another tight end following the Kansas City Chiefs’ latest NFL Draft selection.
Kansas City selected Jared Wiley from Texas Christian University with its fourth-round pick out of Detroit, Michigan, on Saturday.
Wiley was selected with the No. 131 overall pick in the 2024 draft.
The 6-foot-1 tight end had 47 receptions for 520 yards and eight touchdowns for the TCU Horned Frogs last year.
Wiley spent three seasons at the University of Texas at Austin before transferring to TCU in 2022.
The tight end racked up 15 total touchdowns during his five years in college football.
He will now have a chance to play for the defending back-to-back Super Bowl champions.
And that means he will also be in the same situation as modern legend Kelce.
NFL Network reporter Daniel Jeremiah stated, “They have a really good tight end he can learn from.”

The Chiefs are also still awaiting news on a possible suspension of standout 2023 rookie receiver Rashee Rice.
Rice is facing a ban due to his involvement in a car accident in Dallas, Texas.
