In a stunning turn of events, when approached by Paul, Mahomes handed him his three Super Bowl rings, which he intended to use as a makeshift duster on Uso.

However, Uso ducked just in time as he was restrained by JD McDonagh, with Paul delivering a heavy blow to the Judgment Day member.

Paul and Finn Balor were left open-mouthed, stunned by the mistake, giving Uso the opportunity to get revenge on Balor.

The wild sequence of events was called by McAfee and Michael Cole just feet from the ring.

“He literally put a dynasty in Logan Paul’s right hand!” recalled McAfee on his ESPN show on Tuesday.

But despite the initial shock, asking Mahomes “Why did you do that?” McAfee believed the two-time MVP knew exactly what Uso had planned.

“I like to think Patrick Mahomes is always playing chess,” McAfee said.

“He knew that with the amount of time it took Logan and how stupid JD McDonagh is, and Finn Balor speaking with an Irish accent so you can’t understand what he’s saying, he knew he would be able to move when these things came in.

“And he did, so thank you Patrick Mahomes for helping Jey Uso last night.”

After Balor was finally choked out by Braun Strowman, who then chased after a terrified Paul, he confronted Mahomes at ringside.

The two looked at each other, exchanging words as two of Mahomes’ offensive linemen, Trey Smith and Creed Humphrey, supported him.

Uso then approached, pulling Strowman away as Mahomes yelled, “We’re right back!”

Footage of the confrontation was later tweeted by Smith, who added the subtitle“QB1 is off limits.”
