PATRICK Mahomes says Travis Kelce’s party-loving personality hides the mind of a genius.
The Kansas City Chiefs stars form one of the most formidable partnerships in sports.
Kelce’s relationship with Taylor Swift catapulted him to global fame as a fun-loving celebrity.
But Mahomes paid tribute to the tight end’s intelligence.
The quarterback was asked if Kelce was his favorite receiver on the Impaulsive podcast.
“100 percent. Just a good guy. He does a great job of opening up,” he responded.
“He understands, he’s smart. He takes on a partying, drinking persona, but is actually super intelligent.
“He walks onto the football field and opens up and I know where he’s going to be. Our friendship was built naturally, he is a bit similar to me.
“He’s friends with all the boys he grew up with – I’m friends with all the boys I grew up with.
“We’re all just a big group of friends. I go on golf trips with some of his friends without Travis there, that’s the kind of group we have.

“I’ll keep it for a few more years, for sure.”
Asked if he would be able to keep up with Kelce’s party, Mahomes made an honest admission.
“No. I can’t,” he said.
“I think I used to do that and then I had kids and you hear my voice now. I went out early every night.”
Chiefs coach Andy Reid recently signed a contract that keeps him at Kansas through 2029.
Defensive standout Chris Jones also agreed to a multi-year extension.
And Kelce has reportedly agreed to a deal that will make him the highest-paid tight end in the NFL.

The three-time Super Bowl champion isn’t the only tight end to have his intelligence put under the microscope this week.
Rob Gronkowski picked up some strays ahead of Tom Brady’s highly anticipated roast.
Roastmaster General Jeff Ross, 58, appeared on Jimmy Kimmel’s show to discuss 46-year-old Brady’s punishment.
But was Gronkowski35, which ended up being criticized.
“Gronk will be there. Even though he thinks he’s going to the Oscars,” Ross joked.
“He keeps asking me if he can present Best Supporting Actor.”
