MICHAEL Irvin has been fired from the NFL Network team.
According to Andrew Marchand of The Athletic, Irvin was part of an initial round of firings made at the network.
Irvin was suspended in early 2023 by the network after allegations surfaced of inappropriate behavior at a hotel during the Super Bowl.
He sued the woman for defamation and asked for $100 million in damages.
The case was resolved, allowing Irvin to return to work. However, it looks like he’s done for good on NFL Network now.
Irvin had been an analyst for NFL Network since 2009.
The NFL Hall of Famer made most of his appearances on NFL GameDay Morning.
Along with Irvin’s firing, NFL Network is eliminating one of its most popular shows on NFL Total Access.
The program has been on air for two decades and is scheduled to end on May 17th.
The spot filled by NFL Total Access will be replaced by a new program called Insiders, led by reporters Ian Rapoport, Mike Garafolo and Tom Pelissero.
