PATRICK Mahomes appeared in a never-before-seen video about hitting a game-winning basketball shot as a kid.
The 28-year-old Kansas City Chiefs star quarterback has had an impressive arm throughout his life — and the clip proves that fact.
Three-time MVP Mahomes is, of course, known for his football skills and even his baseball experience.
He played college football and baseball during his time at Texas Tech.
But Mahomes also played basketball during his youth, and a clip of his earlier skills on the hardwood floor went viral.
The Chiefs posted a clip on Xformerly known as Twitter, of a young Mahomes making a game-winning shot.

The video was grainy, as Mahomes was wearing a yellow jersey with few spectators present during the game.
He dribbled the ball before launching a long shot that hit the basket.
Young Mahomes and his teammates celebrated immediately after the kick.
Mahomes is seen briefly raising his arms before the video ends.

Clip X was viewed more than 355,000 times as fans shared their reactions to the future NFL star’s move.
“Kid was born to be a famous athlete,” wrote one.
“Achieving the game winner for life,” said a second.
“That’s my goat,” commented a third.
Mahomes inherited his athletic genes and throwing skills from his father, Patrick Mahomes Sr., who played in the MLB for 11 seasons.
During high school baseball, Patrick threw one no-hitter and struck out 16 batters.
But Mahomes didn’t follow in his father’s footsteps and instead took his talents to the football field.
He left baseball before his freshman year of college to focus on football.
Mahomes’ decision paid off as he recorded 41 touchdowns in 2016.

The signal-caller was drafted by the Chiefs in the first round of the 2017 NFL Draft.
Mahomes won his first Super Bowl in the 2019-20 season and ended up signing a 10-year contract worth up to $503 million.
He won three MVP awards in his career and two consecutive Super Bowls.
