NFL quarterback Ben DiNucci has been released by the Denver Broncos.
The former XFL star is once again looking for another team after signing with the Broncos last year.

DiNucci, 27, shared the news himself in X earlier this week.
“All part of the journey!!” wrote the former James Madison standout.
“Excited for what’s to come.”
DiNucci spent last year with Denver’s practice squad.
In January, the former seventh-round pick signed a reserve/future contract.
But the Broncos quarterback room has been crowded ever since.
The team signed Jason Stidham as a free agent before acquiring Zach Wilson in a trade with the New York Jets last month.
Denver then selected Oregon’s Bo Nix 12th overall in the 2024 NFL Draft.

DiNucci’s only NFL appearances came during the 2020 season.
He appeared in three games for the Dallas Cowboys, making one start after Andy Dalton suffered a concussion.
The 6-foot-1 quarterback had more success during his one-year stint in the XFL.
DiNucci spent the 2023 campaign with the Seattle Sea Dragons, making 10 starts and leading the team to a 7-3 regular season record.
He led the league in passing yards (2,671), attempts (374), and completions (272), while ranking second in passing touchdowns (20).
However, the Sea Dragons QB also threw a league-leading 13 interceptions.
Meanwhile, the battle for the Broncos’ starting quarterback job promises to be a three-way race.
Stidham, Wilson and Nix apparently entered offseason workouts and none of them were guaranteed the role of offensive leader.
“Then [Hall of Famer] Account [Parcells] taught me a long time ago – let them play,” Broncos coach Sean Payton said via ESPN.
“We have to maximize the reps we have and let them develop, and it will work itself out.”
The Broncos changed quarterbacks after Russell Wilson’s two-year failure in Denver.
They finished the 2023 NFL season with an 8-9 record, extending their playoff drought to eight years.
