The NFL schedule will finally be revealed on Wednesday night – and ESPN will have a special show to mark the moment.
The show on ESPN2 will air starting at 8 p.m. ET, as fans everywhere will find out which opponents their favorite NFL teams will face and when.
It was confirmed on Monday that the season opener on September 5th will see the Super Bowl champions, the Kansas City Chiefs, play the Baltimore crows.
Defending champions traditionally host the first game of a new season.
The Chiefs, with their iconic quarterback Patrick Mahomes, are eyeing a historic third championship after securing back-to-back Super Bowls with victory over the San Francisco 49ers in Las Vegas in February.
The following night, September 6, the Green Bay Packers will face the Philadelphia Eagles in São Paulo, Brazil.
It will be the first game of the regular season to be played in Brazil.
But there is much more to be decided and there is not much left for everyone to wait now.
Pundits and fans alike will eagerly await lineup news for the season’s opening Sunday on September 8th.
Fans in London and Germany will no doubt be delighted to hear that all dates and teams for this autumn’s games have been confirmed.

What we already know
ONLY one matchup has been confirmed for the 2024 NFL regular season so far.
That’s the Week 1 matchup between the Philadelphia Eagles and Green Bay Packers on Friday, September 6th.
The game will be played at Arena Corinthians in São Paulo, Brazil, and will be broadcast live on Peacock across the United States.
We also know the identity of the home teams in the three games in London, England, and one in Munich, Germany.
The Chicago Bears and Minnesota Vikings will host games at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, while the other home team in London will be the Jacksonville Jaguars at Wembley Stadium.
The Carolina Panthers are also confirmed for the game at the Allianz Arena in Munich.
The release of the schedule was originally expected last week.
This will be the last date – May 15 – that the information was made public in decades.
No official reason has been given for the delay, but there has been speculation that it could be due to streaming deals, including Netflix’s potential purchase of Christmas games.
The Sports Business Journal said last week that the league wants to maintain “a degree of flexibility given the complex nature of schedule development.”
All roads lead to New Orleans for the 2025 Super Bowl.
It will be the first time the biggest game has been held there since 2013, when the Ravens beat the 49ers.
