The legendary quarterback revealed that some of the jokes affected his children after they heard them.

In a conversation with Fred Taylor, Ryan Clark and Channing Crowder on “The Pivot,” Brady explained what he liked and didn’t like about the roast.

“I didn’t like the way they affected my children,” he said.

Brady didn’t specify which jokes he didn’t like, but he was likely referring to the various jabs that were taken at his ex-wife Gisele Bündchen.

Kevin Hart, Jeff Ross, Niki Glaser and Drew Bledsoe were just a few of the names that threw brutal criticism at Bundchen at Brady.

“It’s the hardest part – like the bittersweet aspect of when you do something you think is one way and then suddenly you realize I wouldn’t do it again because of the way it affected the people I was with. I care. about the largest number in the world,” he said.

Brady wasn’t the only one upset by the jokes, Bundchen also expressed how she didn’t like the jokes about her.

She was “deeply disappointed by the disrespectful portrayal of her family on Sunday night’s roast show,” a source tells PEOPLE.

Brady expressed some displeasure with the jokes during the roast, walking up to the microphone to interrupt Jeff Ross.

Ross made a joke about the allegations Kraft faced in 2019 and compared them to Brady as a rookie.

“Tom became a Patriot, moved to New England, and on the first day of training camp, this skinny rookie walked into owner Robert Kraft’s office and said, I’m the best decision your organization has ever made. .. you’d like a massage,” Ross said.

Brady tried to whisper in Ross’s ear, but the microphone picked up exactly what he said.

“Don’t say that again,” Brady said.

Comedian Andrew Schulz, who attended the roast, said Brady was ready to end the roast after that joke.

“People said that Tom and I fought a lot, and in some ways that was true.

“Tom, good luck buying the Raiders. They already did what you liked best: they got rid of Jimmy Garoppolo.”
Roberto Kraft

“Everyone asks me which ring is my favorite. I used to say, ‘Next.’ But now that I’m retired, my favorite ring is the camera that captured Coach Belichick leaving that poor girl’s house at 6 a.m. a few months ago.”

“There were rumors that Coach Belichick would be here tonight. Turns out he has some time on his hands. Look, at least when I got fired, someone else wanted me.”
Drew Bledsoe

“When Tom [Brady] I checked Jeff Ross, I think it was 100% real,” he said.

“The reason I think it’s real is because they told us ‘No happy ending jokes with Bob Kraft.’ Because I had a Bob Kraft label.

“And then Jeff did it, and then Tom came over and said ‘Hey, stop this shit.’ Or ‘Don’t do that again’.

“But think about it, this is the first comic to air live, and it’s your night.

“He was ready to end it all. That’s an alpha** move right there.”

Despite some bad jokes, Brady still encouraged people to have fun with comedy sketches.

“If we’re not laughing about things, we’re crying,” he said.

“We should have more fun.”
