It all started with Adams asking Wagner what he wanted to do after retiring, as he is in the final stages of his career.

“What are you going to do when you hang up?” Adams asked.

Wagner went on a rant about how special it is that Johnson owns the team now, based on how much he admires him.

“It’s ironic that the Magic are part of the team now,” Wagner said.

“He’s someone I really admired and I liked the way he went from playing basketball to owning a lot of different things.

“This is what I imagine my space will look like after this, but we’ll see.”

Adams flashed a mischievous smile when questioning whether Wagner had built a relationship with Johnson.

“Are you friends with Magic Johnson now?” Adams asked.

Wagner laughed and said he hoped they had such a good relationship.

“I hope so!’ Wagner responded.

“He called me after I signed, it was one of the coolest moments.

“Just to have someone you’ve admired for a long time call you and want to sit down and talk to you.”

Johnson is a major investor, with stakes in several companies and sports teams.

In the NBA, Johnson had a stake in the Los Angeles Lakers, but sold it in 2004.

This year he spent $247 million to invest in Washington Commanders.

Career rise of Kay Adams

Kay Adams is a fantasy football expert who rose to fame as the host of Good Morning Football in New York City for six years.

Having previously hosted fantasy-based shows, Adams took on the role of host of GMFB when it launched in 2016.

And, along with Nate Burleson, Kyle Brandt and Peter Schrager, she helped make that program one of the best in the sport.

Adams left GMFB to pursue new ventures in 2022.

She moved to Los Angeles and teamed up with FanDuel to start a self-titled show – Up and Adams.

His latest show airs weekdays at 11 a.m. ET, sometimes in special locations like the Super Bowl or Kentucky Derby.

Johnson also has money in companies like Starbucks and Equitrust.

He’s not the only former NBA player who likes to invest for retirement.

Michael Jordan made several property ventures during his time away from basketball.

He used to own the Charlotte Hornets before recently selling his stake.

He currently owns a NASCAR team and is frequently present at race weekends.
