NFL Hall of Famer Terry Bradshaw gave his opinion on the Dallas Cowboys.
Despite leading the Cowboys to a 12–5 record, the second-best record of quarterback Dak Prescott’s NFL career, they were ultimately eliminated in the wildcard round by the Green Bay Packers.
Since then, the Cowboys have had a battle on their hands, dealing with minimal cap space and the departures of several high-profile players such as offensive tackle Tyron Smith and running back Tony Pollard.
At the same time, the team faces more uncertainty in the coming months, with Prescott, linebacker Micah Parsons and wideout CeeDee Lamb all in line for new deals.
Not to mention head coach Mike McCarthy, who will also be slated for free agency after this season.
Despite these clouds hanging over AT&T Stadium, Prescott and Co. will have to try to focus on overcoming the playoff hurdle that has weighed them down for nearly 30 years.
In fact, the last time the Cowboys went beyond the Divisional Round was the 1995 season, which culminated in them winning Super Bowl XXX.
Discussing the Cowboys and, more specifically, three-time Pro Bowler Prescott, Fox Sports icon Bradshaw had some food for thought.
“I’m a big fan of Dak Prescott,” he said, according to the Fort Worth-Star Telegram.
“I believe that Jerry Jones (team owner) will do everything to win.

“Instead of being so kind and gracious and gentle and kind, I want Dak to go out there and say (beep) you, and (beep) all of you.”
Bradshaw explained that he thinks quarterbacks need “an edge on you.
“You have to have some nastiness because it will permeate your entire team.”
And that “badness” is something Bradshaw has apparently felt the team as a whole has been lacking lately.
He explained that he believes the Cowboys “lack the killer instinct”, going on to blame the media.
Bradshaw felt that Dallas was “put on a pedestal”, believing that networks struggle to cover Cowboys games “because they get the highest ratings every week”.
Additionally, he said the team doesn’t have “that (anger) attitude.”
Bradshaw also stated that the Cowboys “don’t answer, ‘Why is it that when you get to the Playoffs you play like a (wasted) dog?’ Where is this fear?”
He questioned his motivation, explaining that the legendary Pittsburgh Steelers teams of the 1970s, of which he was a central figure, were “never satisfied.”
“When people said we weren’t good anymore, we went out and won two more Super Bowls,” Bradshaw added.
When it comes to the four-time Super Bowl champion, the Cowboys need that cutting-edge technology.

Jones has been saying all offseason that he is “all in” with the Cowboys.
In free agency, they brought back familiar face Ezekiel Elliott to likely replace Pollard as the leader.
Linebacker Eric Kendricks was also signed to take the place of Leighton Vander Esch, who was forced to retire at age 28 due to injuries.
The team drafted four players in the top 100 – defensive lineman Tyler Guyton, edge rusher Marshawn Kneeland, defensive lineman Cooper Beebe and linebacker Marist Liufau.
You have to have some nastiness because it will permeate your entire team.
