DEVONTA Smith signed a massive $75 million contract extension last month.

But the 25-year-old Philadelphia Eagles star still lives in the modest $625,000 home he purchased in July 2021.

The five-bedroom estate in Marlton, New Jersey, is a far cry from the mansions many NFL players occupy.

Before purchasing his home, Smith spent $700,000 on a Los Angeles property for his mother, Christina Smith-Sylve, after the Eagles drafted him in the first round of the 2021 NFL Draft.

He used his original four-year, $20 million contract to set up his mother on a 10-acre, four-bedroom property in Independence.

“To the world you are a mother, but to me you are the absolute world,” he captioned the video he posted at the time.

Smith justified being drafted tenth overall with 240 receptions for 3,178 yards and 19 touchdowns in three seasons.

He entered the league with a lot of enthusiasm after winning the Heisman Trophy in 2020.

The former Alabama standout played an important role in a potent offense alongside AJ Brown and Jalen Hurts.

His three-year extension came after Philly signed running back Saquon Barkley and linebackers Bryce Huff and Zack Baun in free agency.

One area where Smith excelled was his impressive car collection.

He also has a Mercedes-Benz G Wagon to add some luxury.

In 2021, Smith revealed to Shannon Sharpe that when he got his first NFL paycheck, he wanted an old-school Pontiac Firebird.

“I’ve been researching old schools and I want a Pontiac Firebird,” Smith said.

And, more in keeping with his simple home, Smith also drives a Nissan Ultima.

In the interview with Sharpe, Smith revealed that he would never get rid of him.

You can start buying tickets for some games on several websites now:

Before purchasing tickets from resale sites, check the prices as they are third-party sellers and, more importantly, the cost may vary depending on demand. You can pay more than an official ticket, but you can also get good last-minute deals.

But if you can’t make it in person, don’t worry, there’s still time to set up your stream before the season starts.

You can also stay up to date with the latest NFL coverage right here at The US Sun.

“I’m going to keep my Altima, it’s not going anywhere, it’s a fuel saver,” he said.

Smith is also a Nissan partner thanks to his 2020 Heisman Trophy win.

Heisman winners are invited to participate in Nissan’s “Heisman House” campaign, and Smith has been active in its commercials.

This week, the Eagles received the surprise news that one of their players is retiring just two months after signing a big-money contract.

Former Miami Dolphins and New England Patriots wide receiver DeVante Parker has decided to retire to spend more time with his family.
