Brady posted a photo on Instagram of himself with Edelman when the two were Patriots.

The seven-time Super Bowl winner shared the photo on his Instagram story, with the caption: “Happy birthday to the little brother I never asked for.”

However, former quarterback Brady continued to mock Edelman, adding: “No, really… Can someone come get him? He’s not leaving.”

The last message made it seem like the two were together at the time of posting.

Brady and Edelman remained close even after the duo’s tenure with the Patriots came to an end.

Both won three Super Bowls together in Nova England.

Edelman retired in 2020, while Brady moved on and signed with the Tampa Buccaneers, where he earned a Super Bowl before retiring last year.
