The win puts the Stars up 2-1 in the Conference Finals series ahead of the crucial Game 4 on Wednesday.

Mahomes’ teammate Travis Kelce attended Game 2 of the series on Saturday, having a friendly social media spat with his quarterback.

“Get out of my arena!! @tkelce,” Mahomes posted on X after seeing footage of the tight end on TV.

“Gotta love playoff hockey, baby!!! You’ve never skated!” came Kelce’s quick response.

The pair quickly bounced back after their light-hearted social media spat, sitting courtside for the Dallas Mavericks’ NBA showdown with the Minnesota Timberwolves.

Kelce received a less than favorable reception from some sections of the crowd, with some booing the three-time Super Bowl winner.

“Our boyfriend Pat and @taylorswift13’s boyfriend are home!” the Mavericks X account joked.

“Taylor Swift’s boyfriend. They made a mess,” laughed one fan in response.

“Very funny! Why the boos for Kelce?” she asked for a second.

“This is wild. Give the Community Manager a raise,” commented a third.

Mahomes and the Chiefs have their sights set on a historic three-peat in the 2024 season.

No team in the modern NFL era has won three consecutive titles.

Kansas City worked hard during the offseason to give its star quarterback more depth at receiver.

Mahomes will have Marquise ‘Hollywood’ Brown running routes in 2024 alongside first-round pick Xavier Worthy.

The Chiefs’ mandatory minicamp will begin on June 11.

All players must report for conditioning, practices and meetings at the three-day event before being released ahead of training camp in late July.

The defending Super Bowl champions will open the new season on September 6 against the Baltimore Ravens.
