TOM Brady explained how difficult it will be for the Kansas City Chiefs to win another Super Bowl this season.
Coach Andy Reid’s Chiefs aim to become the first three-peat Super Bowl champions next season.
Kansas City’s victories in Super Bowl LVII and LVIII made them the ninth team in NFL history to win back-to-back titles, and only the second since the turn of the century.
The last team to accomplish this feat was the 2003-2004 New England Patriots, led by none other than Brady.
In a recent appearance on FS1’s The Herd with Colin Cowherd, Brady revealed how difficult it will be for the Chiefs to make a three-peat.
“Winning a Super Bowl is extremely challenging, as we know,” admitted the seven-time champion.
“Even when you look at the way the Chiefs won the Super Bowl last year against the [San Francisco] The 49ers were an incredible comeback, so to speak, they played really well at the end.
“The margin for error was minimal. And that’s how it’s going to be this year for them too.”
Brady highlighted how all NFL teams are “very competitive,” adding that they will all be “well-coached.”
“So winning a Super Bowl is extremely difficult,” he said.

“To win two games in a row like the Chiefs did, I mean, as we know in the history of the sport, it’s almost impossible.
“To win three in a row, there’s a reason nobody has. The reason we haven’t won three in a row is because it’s hard to win one in a row.”
Brady went on to note that this already difficult task has only been made even more difficult by the fact that the Chiefs were picked last in the first round of the draft, their difficult schedule, their losses in free agency and the fact that every player will need maintain a high level of motivation.
Despite all that, Brady admitted the Chiefs could still pull it off, praising Reid, quarterback Patrick Mahomes and tight end Travis Kelce, among others.
Among those leaving the Chiefs this offseason are wideouts Marquez Valdes-Scantling and Mecole Hardman, linebacker Willie Gay and cornerback L’Jarius Sneed.
Meanwhile, sophomore Rashee Rice’s future remains uncertain following a hit-and-run incident in Dallas this offseason.

However, Chiefs have worked hard to retain key members of their squad as well as strengthen in areas of need.
Kelce, defensive lineman Chris Jones and linebacker Drue Tranquill were among those who signed new contracts this offseason.
They also drafted former first-round pick Marquise Brown to help at wideout, while also drafting fellow receiver Xavier Worthy, 32nd overall, from Texas.
Meanwhile, Reid also signed a new deal, reportedly making him the highest-paid coach in the league.
Kansas City will begin its title defense on September 5th against the Baltimore Ravens in a rematch of their AFC Championship victory.
Meanwhile, Brady will begin his new career this season, joining Fox Sports on a ten-year deal worth $375 million.
He and Kevin Burkhardt will form the network’s main announcing duo.
