On Saturday, Travis headed to a suite at the American Airlines Center to watch the Dallas Stars defeat the Edmonton Oilers 3-1 in Game 2 of the NHL Western Conference Finals.

The next day, he returned to the AAC along with Chiefs teammates Marquise Brown, Patrick Mahomes and his wife Brittany.

The group sat courtside as the Dallas Mavericks defeated the Minnesota Timberwolves 116-107 in Game 3 of the NBA Western Conference Finals.

During the game, the jumbotron cut to Travis, prompting a chorus of boos from the home fans.

Shortly after, the focus turned to Patrick, a Texas native, resulting in applause.

On the latest episode of the New Heights podcast, which Travis co-hosts with his brother and former Philadelphia Eagles center Jason, he reflected on what an “off the hook” game it was.

“I got booed twice, whatever. I get it.” Travis said.

I’m not from Dallas, I’m just an innocent bystander.”

Pressed by Jason about why he was being booed so much, Travis admitted he wasn’t sure.

“I don’t know. Maybe they just don’t like the Chiefs, I don’t know,” he replied.

Travis explained that his appearance on the jumbotron caught him “off guard.”

At the time, he was taking a selfie with others around him when Patrick suddenly warned him that he was being broadcast to thousands of fans.

“‘Oh! I’m on the jumbotron!'” Travis remembers thinking.

“And I heard all the boos and I thought, ‘Oh, shit, I’m being booed!

“Nice to see you, Dallas. I appreciate the warm welcome.”

“And then they showed it to Pat and everyone said ‘Yes!'”

Travis Kelce, actor

NFL star Travis Kelce has apparently landed his first major acting role.

The Kansas City Chiefs tight end plans to become a “heavy” figure in music and entertainment.

Kelce saw her star power rise after going public with her girlfriend Taylor Swift last summer.

The 34-year-old has already been cast in the new horror series Grotesquerie.

Directed by American Horror Story creator Ryan Murphy, the drama is set to arrive on FX this fall.

Kelce will appear on the show alongside Niecy Nash-Betts, Courtney B. Vance and Lesley Manville.

On Tuesday, Nash-Betts appeared to confirm Kelce’s involvement with a surprise reveal on Instagram.

“This is what happens when WINNERS come together,” she captioned a clip featuring Kelce in a backstage dressing room.

Although Travis seemed understanding in this regard, calling Patrick “the best football player in the world”.

Dallasites may not like Travis much, but he seems to have a soft spot for the city, and more specifically the Cowboys.

“I grew up a big fan of Jason Witten,” he said of the legendary tight end.

“The Cowboys were always the damn boys when they had Deion [Sanders] and Emmitt [Smith].”

Travis even admitted that he previously wanted to be a Cowboy.

Jason, however, didn’t believe a word of it.

“Dude, stop saying that,” he replied.

“You never wanted to be a Cowboy.”

Travis will not have the opportunity to go to Dallas this season as Kansas City is not scheduled to play the Cowboys.

Jason, by comparison, will travel to AT&T Stadium on November 11 as the newest member of ESPN’s Monday Night Countdown team.

He will preview Dallas’ game against the Houston Texans.
