Tagavoiloa led the Miami Dolphins to an 11-5 record before losing to the eventual Super Bowl champion Kansas City Chiefs in the Wild Card round.

Fans also believed the Miami quarterback was thinner than usual in this week’s public appearance.

They would be correct, as Tagavoiloa has lost 10 to 15 pounds and is down to 220 pounds, so the Alabama product could improve his mobility on the field, his coach Nick Hicks said. Sports Illustrated.

The five-year veteran was seen participating in Dolphins organized team activities (OTAs) earlier this week.

Miami will begin its season on September 8th when it hosts the Jacksonville Jaguars.
