Waller and his wife Kelsey Plum — a two-time WNBA All-Star — announced their divorce in April.

The 31-year-old tight end released the ballad Who Knew (Her Perspective) last week.

Waller is seen arguing with a brunette who resembles Plum in the track’s music video.

The clip ends with Waller lying on the beach after the woman apparently stabs him in the back and walks away.

Smith aired the viral clip on his podcast, but was quickly put off by Waller’s vocals.

“Can you please get that out of my ear?” Smith groaned, putting his head in his hands.

“Get it out of my ear! Yes, I’m yelling at my producers – do you hear what that man sounds like?” roared Stephen A. as the clip continued.

“You don’t keep something like that in someone’s ear.

“That was really, really, really bad.”

“I’m just making fun of your voice, not your situation,” Smith added.

‘Terrible’ Chiefs star Chris Jones slams NFL rival Darren Waller over latest song about divorce from ex Kelsey Plum

Kansas City Chiefs star Chris Jones gave his own analysis of the track on Friday, calling it a “terrible sludge.”

Waller and Plum married in Kas Vegas in March 2023, but filed for divorce in Clark County Circuit Court just 13 months later.

“I’m devastated. I walked through fire for that man, but now I see it’s time to go,” Plum wrote in an emotional statement on Instagram in April.

“God has given me an incredible life and I am truly grateful for the deep love of my family and friends.

“One day I will tell my story, today is not that day.”

Waller, 31, is currently on the New York Giants roster following a high-profile trade with the Las Vegas Raiders.

The tight end had back-to-back 1,000-yard receiving seasons in 2019 and 2020.

But in a struggling Giants offense, he managed just 52 catches for 552 yards and a touchdown last season after being plagued by a hamstring issue.

Waller’s NFL future remains in doubt and he has suggested retiring.

In 2022, he signed a three-year, $51 million contract extension with the Raiders.

This made Waller the highest-paid tight end in the league.

Since then, he has been ravaged by persistent injuries, starting just 27 games over the last three seasons.
