Tom Brady prepares to reunite with ‘hundreds of Patriots teammates’ as NFL GOAT prepares for big Hall of Fame ceremony

TOM Brady will be inducted into the New England Patriots Hall of Fame in front of thousands of fans – and hundreds of teammates.

The Patriots legend will be honored at sold-out Gillette Stadium on Wednesday, June 12.

And “hundreds” of Brady’s former teammates also plan to be in attendance, according to Mike Reiss of ESPN.

It’s unclear exactly who will be in attendance, although names like Rob Gronkowski, Julian Edelman and Randy Moss are expected.

One guaranteed guest, according to ESPN, is former New England offensive lineman Damien Woody, who “hasn’t been back to the area in several years.”

Brady is the 35th person inducted into the Patriots Hall of Fame.

Previously, the Patriots had a rule that players had to be retired for four years before being hired.

But the rule was waived to include the seven-time Super Bowl champion this year.

Details about the highly anticipated ceremony, which will be hosted by NBC’s Mike Tirico, remain under wraps.

But Reiss previously reported that the event could be “similar” to the Celtics’ Larry Bird Night in 1993.

The Celtics then honored Bird with a 90-minute retirement ceremony at the Boston Garden, which was attended by longtime rival Magic Johnson.

As such, former Indianapolis Colts and Denver Broncos star Peyton Manning is expected to make an appearance.

The Patriots’ previous reunion took place with Brady’s controversial Netflix roast.

Many of the guests mocked Brady over his divorce from Brazilian model Gisele Bundchen, leaving ex Bridget Moynahan while she was pregnant with their son Jack, his epic cryptocurrency losses and plastic surgery rumors.

Brady recently revealed some regrets about his appearance on the popular live TV special.

The legendary quarterback revealed that some of the jokes affected his children after they heard them.

In a conversation with Fred Taylor, Ryan Clark and Channing Crowder on “The Pivot,” Brady explained what he liked and didn’t like about the roast.

“I didn’t like the way they affected my children,” he said.

Brady didn’t specify which jokes he didn’t like, but he was likely referring to the various jabs that were thrown at Bundchen.

“It’s the hardest part – like the bittersweet aspect of when you do something you think is one way and then suddenly you realize I wouldn’t do it again because of the way it affected the people I was with. I care. about the largest number in the world,” he said.

Brady wasn’t the only one upset by the jokes, Bundchen also expressed how she didn’t like the jokes about her.

She was “deeply disappointed by the disrespectful portrayal of her family on Sunday night’s roast show,” a source tells PEOPLE.

Brady expressed some displeasure with the jokes during the roast, walking up to the microphone to interrupt Jeff Ross.

Ross made a joke about the allegations Patriots owner Robert Kraft faced in 2019 and compared them to Brady as a rookie.

“Tom became a Patriot, moved to New England, and on the first day of training camp, this skinny rookie walked into owner Robert Kraft’s office and said, I’m the best decision your organization has ever made. .. you’d like a massage,” Ross said.

Brady tried to whisper in Ross’s ear, but the microphone picked up exactly what he said.

“Don’t say that again,” Brady said.
