GREEN Bay Packers running back Josh Jacobs gave his brutal opinion on the Las Vegas Raiders.

Two-time Pro Bowler Jacobs, 26, left the Raiders as a free agent this offseason after five seasons as their star running back.

Instead, he opted to go to Wisconsin, signing a four-year, $48 million contract with Green Bay to replace Aaron Jones.

Jacobs left Las Vegas at 39-44, making the Playoffs just once in his time with the Raiders.

In a recent interview with two-time Super Bowl champion Chris Long on his Green Light PodcastJacobs discussed the difficulties of losing so often after such a successful college career at Alabama.

Long questioned Jacobs if it was difficult to ask himself — while in Las Vegas — if he would ever “get out” of a situation that was often lost.

“Definitely, and that was also partly due to me leaving,” Jacobs admitted.

“And I told them, ‘Man, coming from Alabama, I went to a championship every year I was there.

“I remember getting to the league and losing my first game and feeling bad. [and] I’m not talking to anyone, and a vet came to me and [said], ‘This is the NFL. You will lose.

“I’m like, ‘So you guys are okay with losing?’ It was so different.”

Jacobs added that it was especially frustrating when players like Davante Adams, Maxx Crosby and himself, among others, “showed up every day and worked hard” and still didn’t get the results they wanted.

“Then it gets to the point where [I’m] like, ‘I’m working hard and doing every little detail, every little step, and I’m still not getting results.’ I didn’t have the answers,” she recalled.

“And that’s the most frustrating part.”

Jacobs then made a snide dig at the Raiders’ front office when discussing his contract negotiations.

“That was a big thing for me too, man, I was like, ‘Man, you guys want me to come back with a discount and lose?’ I don’t know how I feel about it,” he said.

However, despite his lingering frustration, Jacobs had nothing but praise for head coach Antonio Pierce.

After Josh McDaniels was fired midway through the 2023 season, Pierce took over on an interim basis, leading Vegas to a 5-4 record.

He was later signed on a permanent basis this offseason after much player lobbying on his behalf.

With this season’s schedule now revealed, eager NFL fans are looking to secure tickets to their favorite games.

You can start buying tickets for some games on several websites now:

Before purchasing tickets from resale sites, check the prices as they are third-party sellers and, more importantly, the cost may vary depending on demand. You can pay more than an official ticket, but you can also get good last-minute deals.

But if you can’t make it in person, don’t worry, there’s still time to set up your stream before the season starts.

“I wanted to come back and play for him and stuff like that, but at the same time, at the end of the day, it was out of his control,” Jacobs explained.

“He was like, ‘We want you back,’ but he couldn’t really do much about it to get me back because he’s a first-time head coach and Mr. [Mark] Davis (team owner) didn’t want to put too much on his plate.

“So he put people around him to deal with all these things.”

Jacobs added that he never had the opportunity to speak with the team’s general manager, Tom Telesco.

“If you don’t have enough respect for me to sit down and talk, then we have nothing to talk about,” he said.

Ultimately, Jacobs’ career with the Raiders ended after 73 games, having rushed for 5,545 yards and 46 touchdowns, with another 1,448 yards receiving.
