Rodgers, 40, has begun off-season organized team activities (OTAs) without limitations.

However, the four-time MVP missed this week’s mandatory minicamp in an “unexcused absence” that is subject to fines, Jets coach Robert Saleh said Tuesday.

Saleh added that Rodgers missed practice because of an event “important to him.”

“Aaron and I talked before the OTAs started,” Saleh said.

“He’s been really good at communicating.

“He was here the whole time. There’s no excuse, but he had an event that was very important to him – that he communicated.”

Linebacker Haason Reddick, who is in contract extension negotiations with the Jets, was another unexcused absence for New York on Tuesday.

Last month, Rodgers said his team would be “must watch TV” upon his return while discussing playing six games in primetime in 2024.

“I loved it. I love it,” said the quarterback.

“We are must-see TV. This is pretty obvious – everyone knows it.

“Whether you love me or hate me, people want to see me play.

“They like watching me play. We are a team to watch this year.

“Six primetime games in the first 11 or 12 weeks. I loved it.”

The Jets also have high hopes for a full season with Rodgers at the helm.

With this season’s schedule now revealed, eager NFL fans are looking to secure tickets to their favorite games.

You can start buying tickets for some games on several websites now:

Before purchasing tickets from resale sites, check the prices as they are third-party sellers and, more importantly, the cost may vary depending on demand. You can pay more than an official ticket, but you can also get good last-minute deals.

But if you can’t make it in person, don’t worry, there’s still time to set up your stream before the season starts.

You can also stay up to date with the latest NFL coverage right here at The US Sun.

“He can lead us wherever he can,” New York linebacker C.J. Mosley recently told The US Sun

“And as a defensive player, we’re just going to do our job to keep as many points off the board and give him the ball as many times as we can.”

Mosley added: “With his offense and the personnel he has with them, he is capable of changing plays at the line of scrimmage.

“He is able to see plays that in no second [or] the third-year player might not be able to see it. Or even some veterinarians still today.

“When you’re in the system, he’s been there so long and he’s been able to make adjustments and change things and be able to play 10-plus years, and now you can go back eight years and see how the game has progressed. .

“So, just having that longevity in the game, obviously, just seeing a lot of game snaps, just playing football that long, you just get better and learn things and really become a player’s coach on the field.”
