NFL legend Shannon Sharpe weighed in on Bill Belichick’s relationship with a former cheerleader.
It recently emerged that 72-year-old six-time Super Bowl champion Belichick is in a relationship with 24-year-old Jordan Hudson.
The then-New England Patriots coach and the then-college student reportedly met in 2021 while flying from Boston to Florida, as shown in a photo discovered by TMZ.
After Belichick and his longtime partner Linda Holliday went their separate ways, Belichick and Hudson reportedly became romantically involved.
The 48-year age difference between Belichick and Hudson has been the subject of discussion, as well as jokes – including from former Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski.
In fact, Gronkowski apparently joked about their relationship in both Tom Brady’s Netflix in May and the Patriots Hall of Fame induction in June.

The latest famous face to give his opinion on the situation is NFL Hall of Famer and ESPN star Sharpe.
On the Nightcap podcast, which he co-hosts with Chad “Ochocinco” Johnson, Sharpe explained. why he didn’t see any problem in their relationship.
Sharpe said he felt some people “make it seem like everyone enters a relationship, regardless of whether they are male or female, with the right intentions” — something he clearly disagrees with.
“As long as we’re both getting something out of it, I’m fine with it,” Sharpe noted.

And although Ochocinco seemed less convinced, Sharpe added: “You’re talking about two grown, consenting adults.”
“Coach Belichick knows his age. She knows her age. She knows coach Belichick’s age.”
Sharpe seemed to disagree with those who have issues with Belichick and Hudson’s relationship, as he felt it was simply no one else’s business but theirs.
Sharpe and Johnson’s debate drew mixed reactions from users of X, formerly known as Twitter.
“Sharpe is telling the truth,” said one fan.
“That’s how I see things,” commented a second.
While a third simply said they felt it was an “awkward conversation”.
‘Don’t do your job’

Bill Belichick is known for telling his former New England Patriots players to ‘do their job.’
But he took aim at Rob Gronkowski during the attack on Tom Brady.
“You know, a lot of people associate me with a saying called, ‘Do your job.’ And tell people to do their jobs,” Belichick said.
“Gronk, I’ve been watching Fox NFL Sunday and I’m begging you – stop doing your job.
“Do another job. Do someone else’s job!”
Belichick and Hudson may not have had a relationship until after his reported split from Holliday in September 2023, but since the aforementioned flight, they have stayed in touch.
Although their relationship was initially kept secret, Hudson reportedly went to Gillette Stadium during Belichick’s final two seasons in New England to cheer him on, as per TMZ.
Since their relationship turned romantic, Belichick has returned the favor by supporting Hudson at a cheerleading competition in March.
They were later seen together on a visit to Croatia, as well as at Brady’s Hall of Fame ceremony.
