TOM Brady spoke about how he looks after his children who “own their day”.
Brady discussed his growth as a father in a recent podcast appearance, saying it gets easier with age.
On the Deep Cuts podcast with Vic Blends, Brady discussed his relationship with his three children, Jack, Ben and Vivian.
“You get better as a father, I think, because, you know, when you’re a young father, you don’t really know what you’re doing. You’re winging it. You’re trying to wing it,” he said.
“So I think when you become a parent, you’re trying new things for the first time.
“You’re going through all these things for the first time, so you don’t always know exactly the right thing to say.
“As you go along, you get a little better at it, understand a little more, and try to continue to update your parenting skills.”
Brady behaves like an athlete when it comes to being a father, self-evaluating to see how he can improve.
“Am I listening or speaking? Am I coaching or disciplining? Am I holding them accountable or letting them get away with it?” he said.
Brady has spent much of his time in retirement with his children, two of whom come from his recently ended marriage to Gisele Bündchen.

Bundchen and Brady were married for 13 years before divorcing in 2022.
Ben, 14, recently started following in his father’s footsteps and is pursuing football.
“The reality is that Benny likes different things. And it’s great because now I just have to do what he wants,” Brady said.
Vivian, 11, is Brady’s youngest daughter and apparently takes up a lot of his time, according to an Entertainment Tonight interview.
“That little girl owns my day — owns my life,” Brady said.
Brady’s social media pages are flooded with posts of his children doing various activities, including skiing and playing basketball.
