TOM Brady received valuable advice from fellow NFL broadcaster Joe Theismann.
Seven-time Super Bowl champion Brady, 46, signed a 10-year, $375 million contract to come to the Fox booth.
His debut will be eagerly awaited thanks to his exploits on the field.
And Theismann, 74, shared some pearls of wisdom.
“Be Tom Brady, don’t try to be someone else,” he said Outkick.
“That to me would probably be the biggest and best advice.
“Be the guy who knows the game and let the game tell the story.
“You embellish it a little, but you don’t tell the story – the game tells the story.”
Theismann played for Washington from 1974 to 1985 and won a Super Bowl during an MVP campaign in 1983.
But a broken leg suffered on a sack by Lawrence Taylor infamously ended his career.

Theismann turned to broadcasting and joined Frank Gifford in Super Bowl 19 in 1984 while still an active player.
It was last on air in 2011.
Brady admitted to being nervous about the career change.
“I think there’s a lot more room for improvement,” he said on The Herd with Colin Cowherd.
“Almost like when I was a player, I never felt like I did things the right way.
“There were games where I would walk in afterward and think, ‘God, I’m the worst quarterback in the NFL. Why would they want me to play quarterback for this team?’
“And I’m sure I’ll feel that way here at Fox, where I finish a game and say, ‘God, I didn’t even give them what they wanted.’

“It’s a very challenging thing for you. I asked a few people, ‘How do you know you’ve done a good job?'”
Brady was brutally booed by fans during his soft launch on Fox.
The uncomfortable moment came when Brady presented the MVP trophy to Birmingham Stallions quarterback Adrian Martinez after the UFL championship at The Dome at America’s Center in St. Louis.
The Stallions defeated the San Antonio Brahmas 25-0 to win the UFL title.
“Tom Brady, this is one of the rare times you’ve been showered with champagne and it wasn’t the guy who greeted you,” said Fox co-host Curt Menefee.
The stadium then broke out into a chorus of boos.
