Former NFL star and now top coach Deion Sanders insists he has no plans to leave Colorado once his sons enter professional football.

Sanders’ sons, quarterback Shedeur and safety Shilo, are on the Buffaloes team, where their father Deion is the head coach.

They are expected to become NFL players after this season with Colorado.

But Deoin says there is no reason for him to go with them.

“I’m a leader of men, not a follower of men,” Sanders said on The Joel Klatt Show.

“I’m a father, not a baby daddy. I lead my children. I don’t follow my children.

“My children, Travis [Hunter] included, are preparing to move to the NFL.

“I’m not going to follow them to the NFL.”

Sanders also made it very clear that he would remain where he was, and possibly for a long time.

He hopes this puts to rest rumors he would leave after the 2024 season.

“I paved the way for my babies. They are not paving the way for me,” he said.

“So I intend to be here and be dominant here, because they are establishing something that we will continue to build on for years to come.
