SAN Francisco 49ers wide receiver Brandon Aiyuk has not requested a trade, his agent has adamantly stated.

Aiyuk, 26, is unhappy with his team because of the new contract.

But that didn’t result in him requesting a trade, according to his agent.

The receiver is entering the final season of his five-year rookie contract.

The 49ers have said publicly that they intend to offer Aiyuk a new deal rather than trade him.

A report on Twitter stated that Aiyuk had already requested to be traded.

But his agent Ryan Williams of Athletes First responded, “you need better sources.”

As it stands, Aiyuk is set to earn $14.1 million for the 2024 season.

According to Spotrac, the receiver has a projected market value of just over $96 million over four years.

That equates to an average of $24 million annually — meaning he would leave $10 million on the table under the terms of his current deal.

He recently unfollowed the team on social media, which suggests there may be a breakdown in communication.

Aiyuk appeared on the Nightcap podcast with Shannon Sharpe and Chad Ochocinco to discuss his contract situation.

“I’m trying to get what I deserve,” Aiyuk said.

“I feel like this season, this season playing football, I discovered who I was as a person and as a player, what I bring to the table, what I bring to the locker room, what I bring to the organization.

“And just the value I have when I walk into that building.

“People will follow me because I’ve been doing everything the right way since I walked into that building.

“From the first day I walked in there to when I was there this morning. I did it the right way.

“We have professionals working on both sides, so we hope we can reach a professional agreement and continue playing professional football.”

Aiyuk was a 2020 first-round draft pick out of Arizona State University.

He’s part of the 49ers’ fearsome crop of offensive weapons, including Christian McCaffrey, George Kittle and Deebo Samuel.

The 26-year-old has scored 27 total touchdowns in his career so far.

He had three catches for 49 yards in this year’s Super Bowl loss to the Kansas City Chiefs.
