During one sequence, Kelce talked about her favorite Swift songs with co-hosts Will Compton and Taylor Lewan.

The latter personality considered Karma from the 14-time Grammy winner’s 2022 album Midnights to be one of his best songs.

However, Compton asked Kelce“Karma is [about] Gyllenhaal, right?”

He made reference to the Hollywood actor Jake Gyllenhaal, who Swift briefly dated in 2010.

“Was it Jake? Am I wrong?”

Kelce quickly dodged the question, responding, “What happened?”

Lewan then told Compton that when Swift started falling in love the NFL tight end, she changed the lyrics to “Karma is the Chiefs guy coming straight home to me”, during a Buenos Aires event he also attended.

Compton then asked if the song’s lyrics originally referred to the actor Joe Alwynwho was reportedly mentioned in the song because he was dating Swift at the time.

“It was,” Keply replied, while emphasizing the last word.

Swift’s X fans were quick to point out that Kelce was apparently blindsided by the subject of his girlfriend’s relationship history.

“The way he handled this nonsense was great,” one wrote.

“This is all a joke to him haha,” commented another.

“I was a little mad at first, but then I started laughing with Trav,” said a third.

Kelce remembered the show where Karma’s lyric change first happened.

One of the podcast's co-hosts asked Kelce if Swift's 2022 song Karma was about Gyllenhall, who briefly dated the music icon in 2010.

“I was like, ‘Oh, shit,’” the three-time Super Bowl champion recalled.

Swift and Kelce started dating last summer.

‘Well commented personal life’

Travis Kelce was asked about his relationship with Taylor Swift during an interview with Good Morning America.

But the Kansas City Chiefs tight end gave a cautious response.

“When you have good family and friends around you, that aspect of life becomes so much easier,” Kelce told GMA.

“I’ve always been a very grounded guy. Maybe it’s not like that when I’m playing football.

“But off the field, I just want to be a genuine person. I try not to go too far.

“Because you never know what opportunities are going to present themselves.”

The pair confirmed their romance when she attended one of the Pro Bowler’s games in September.

Their relationship came together nearly six months since Swift split from Alwyn, who she dated for more than six years.
