Kelce and pop sensation Swift have been dating since last summer and are the NFL’s most recognized power couple.

After the film was confirmed on Tuesday, fans had no doubts about who they wanted to see in the cast.

“That got Travis and Taylor involved,” gasped one in X.

“Go [Travis and Taylor] play alone? Asking for a friend,” said another.

“I have an idea for the plot…” laughed a third, tagging a photo of Swift with Kelce.

“I love Hallmark and I love the Chiefs. I love this news!!!” he commented a fourth.

The film begins production in July and will be filmed entirely in Kansas City.

“Because Hallmark and the Kansas City Chiefs are local, rooted in values, tradition and community, there is a special alchemy between these two iconic organizations,” said Darren Abbott, chief brand officer at Hallmark, in a press release.

“By combining the warmth of Hallmark storytelling with the excitement of professional football, we are thrilled to give audiences a front-row seat to this community’s spirit, rich traditions and passionate fans that define Kansas City, all wrapped up in the comforting and uplifting Hallmark way .”

Some of the film’s scenes will be filmed at the Chiefs’ Arrowhead Stadium ahead of the new NFL season.

The film will star Tyler Hynes, Hunter King and Ed Begley Jr.

King’s character Alana hopes to win the Chiefs Fan of the Year contest, judged by Derrick (Hynes), Director of Fan Engagement.

The pair find a romantic spark in their love of football and the Chiefs.

“We are honored to partner with Hallmark on a project as unique as this,” added Chiefs President Mark Donovan.

“As a club, we are proud to explore new ways to grow our brand, as well as connect with new audiences.

‘Well commented personal life’

Travis Kelce was asked about his relationship with Taylor Swift during an interview with Good Morning America.

But the Kansas City Chiefs tight end gave a cautious response.

“When you have good family and friends around you, that aspect of life becomes so much easier,” Kelce told GMA.

“I’ve always been a very grounded guy. Maybe it’s not like that when I’m playing football.

“But off the field, I just want to be a genuine person. I try not to go too far.

“Because you never know what opportunities are going to present themselves.”

“This partnership brings together two passionate fan bases and gives us the opportunity to showcase the energy and tradition of Chiefs Kingdom on one of the most-watched channels during the holiday season.”

The 2024 season could be historic for the Chiefs as they aim for a third-place Super Bowl.

No team in the modern NFL era has won three consecutive Super Bowls.

Kelce will return as quarterback Patrick Mahomes’ favorite target after signing a new contract in the offseason.

The new contract makes the 34-year-old the highest-paid tight end in football.
