During an appearance on NFL legend Keyshawn Johnson’s All Facts No Breaks podcast, Hooker called out 2021 NFL Defensive Rookie of the Year Parsons for his popular podcast The Edge with Micah Parsons.

When appearing on Podcast “All the facts without brakes” with former Pro Bowl receiver Keyshawn Johnson, Dallas safety Malik Hooker chimed in about Parsons’ podcasting hobby.

“My advice would be to Micah: Just make sure we’re OK and where your feet are,” Hooker said last week.

“Because if we’re working and the running game sucks, but you’re doing a podcast every week — and you know the running game sucks — then what do you really care about?

“Are you caring about the audience watching your podcast or the success of our team and the Super Bowl What are we trying to achieve?”

Parsons, who was named president of Bleacher Report’s Gridiron in May, responded to Hooker in a since-deleted post on X.

“I just wish you had said that to me, but on some podcast!” Parsons wrote.

“And you took my number family! And you, my closet companion! So you could have said that any day! And you realize I record the podcast on our day off!

“Why aren’t we talking about everyone’s preparation and focus?”

Hooker shared his only response, calling Hooker his “little brother” and adding “Your podcast isn’t hurting anything,” in Instagram.

Edge rusher Parsons and Hooker have been Cowboys teammates the past three seasons.

Last season, they were part of a Dallas team that won the NFC East and a defense that ranked among the league’s top five in most statistical categories.

However, the Cowboys lost 48-32 to the Green Bay Packers in the divisional round of last year’s playoffs, which raised a lot of questions about what their team looked like.

This offseason, Parsons brought in Houston Texans star quarterback CJ Stroud to be part of Bleacher Report’s NFL Draft coverage.

The two NFL stars also participated in sumo wrestling in Japan.

Parsons has been one of the best players in the NFL since entering the league in 2021.

He finished in the top three in Defensive Player of the Year voting in each of his first three seasons.

Hooker signed a three-year contract with the Cowboys ahead of the 2023 season.

Before arriving in Dallas in 2021, he began his first four seasons with the Indianapolis Colts.

Hooker and Parsons will have to prepare for training camp later this month.
