KANSAS City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce is ready to take the world of show business by storm, industry experts believe.

The US Sun understands the NFL star is receiving rave reviews for his Are You Smarter Than a Celebrity? rehearsals – and TV bosses saw enough to dub him the next Ryan Seacrest or Steve Harvey.

Kelce, 34, was announced as the host of Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader? spin-off in March.

Since then, the flamboyant Chiefs star and boyfriend of Taylor Swift has surprised project executives with how natural he appears on set.

A TV source told The US Sun that one of the biggest storylines of the Year 5 reboot will be that Travis is an “incredible host” – one who could usurp the likes of Harvey, Seacrest and Drew Carey.

“It turns out that all of his podcasting, plus the attention he gained from his relationship with Taylor Swift, proved to be the perfect training for this type of work,” the source said.

“It’s a shock how relaxed he is with the contestants, the audience and the famous comedians who came to the show for the first tapings.

“He wants to totally meet and win over everyone who enters his space, and that doesn’t seem fake, not for a second.”

Kelce has already recorded some episodes of the program, which will be broadcast on Amazon Prime Video.

The source said Are you smarter than a celebrity? takes a “very fresh approach” to the original series 5 format, which lends itself to “lots of light, spontaneous comedy”.

And Travis proved to be the perfect choice for the silly nature of the project, with the three-time Super Bowl champion being open about his desire to work on shows that make people happy.

“He’s already pulling it off and project executives are already predicting it will be nothing short of a phenomenon,” the source continued.

‘Security is going to get you,’ Travis Kelce told the NFL star, who texted him a strange marriage proposal near Taylor Swift’s house

“Guys like Ryan Seacrest and Ken Jennings will be shocked at how easily Travis has transformed himself into the smoothest host in the game show business.”

The US Sun understands that Travis has not given up on acting and continues to look for the right opportunity to take on Hollywood.

But TV bosses are convinced he has the potential to make a career out of hosting so successfully that he could generate money that would make his earnings from NFL and New Heights podcasts look like small potatoes.

As of now, Kelce doesn’t make much money on Are You Smarter Than a Celebrity? however.

Travis Kelce, actor

NFL star Travis Kelce has apparently landed his first major acting role.

The Kansas City Chiefs tight end plans to become a “heavy” figure in music and entertainment.

Kelce saw her star power rise after going public with her girlfriend Taylor Swift last summer.

The 34-year-old has already been cast in the new horror series Grotesquerie.

Directed by American Horror Story creator Ryan Murphy, the drama is set to arrive on FX this fall.

Kelce will appear on the show alongside Niecy Nash-Betts, Courtney B. Vance and Lesley Manville.

On Tuesday, Nash-Betts appeared to confirm Kelce’s involvement with a surprise reveal on Instagram.

“This is what happens when WINNERS come together,” she captioned a clip featuring Kelce in a backstage dressing room.

The Chiefs icon earns about $1.8 million per season, totaling about $750,000 after taxes, The US Sun reported in April.

His contract is for two years and includes an option for a third.

It is believed that Travis signed the contract before his relationship with Swift became serious, costing him a lot of money.

With the fame he’s gained since then, he would likely get a lot more money if the deal were to close now.

“He could have commanded a lot more, but he doesn’t care because he loves the show and is excited to host,” a source told The US Sun in April.

“Filming will be in Los Angeles, so he will be working around his schedule.

“He will also be in Europe a lot this summer with Taylor and their families on the Eras tour dates, but he is committed to the project.”
