A spokesperson for the Smith County Criminal Prosecutor’s Office declined to comment, according to the TMZ report.

It is unknown whether his license was revoked or suspended following the traffic stop.

It comes just months after the former MLB pitcher was arrested in Texas for allegedly driving while intoxicated.

“He’s doing fine,” NFL star Mahomes II said when pressed about the incident before Super Bowl LVIII.

“I don’t really want to get into it too much, but he’s doing well in any situation.

“It’s a family matter. So I’m going to leave it up to the family. And that’s all I really have to say at this point.”

Mahomes Sr. played 11 years in the MLB, beginning his career with the Minnesota Twins in 1992.

He would play for the Boston Red Sox, New York Mets and Texas Rangers.

Over the course of his major league career, he achieved a win-loss ratio of 42-39 with 452 strikeouts.

After leaving MLB behind, Mahomes Sr. spent several years in the minor leagues.

He ended his baseball journey in 2009.

Mahomes’ son, Patrick II, is a three-time Super Bowl champion with the Chiefs.

He plans to lead Kansas City to a three-peat in 2024.

No team in the modern NFL era has won three consecutive Super Bowl titles.
