The Kelce family story has become a truly compelling one in American sports, and mom Donna is determined to be part of the fun.

Donna, 71, announced that she will appear alongside Tyler Hynes and Hunter King in the upcoming Christmas film, Holiday Touchdown: A Chiefs Love Story.

It was revealed by Donna in a joint Instagram post with the Hallmark Channel that she will have a role in the film.

She will play the manager of Norma & Nic’s Kansas City restaurant, Kansas City BBQ, in the love story.

“Look who’s joining @hunterking and @tyler_hynes on #HolidayTouchdown: A @Chiefs Love Story!” the post read.

“Please welcome soccer mom @donnakelce to the cast. Don’t miss the world premiere later this year during #CountdownToChristmas.

Fans quickly reacted with joy to this new development.

“Mama Kelce has joined the cast and I’m even more excited,” said one fan.

“Oh my god!! I’m so excited! Hey mommy Kelce!” another fan posted.

“Making my nachos and sauces now,” commented a third fan.

It was revealed last month that King, 30, will star as Alana, a Chiefs superfan who becomes a finalist in the team’s “Fan of the Year” contest.

Hynes, 38, will play Derrick, the Chiefs’ Director of Fan Engagement, whose job is to determine Alana’s family’s level of dedication to the Chiefs — and he falls in love with Alana in the process.

And Chiefs fans will be well served with some cameos from familiar faces.

Chiefs coach Andy Reid and players Trey Smith, Mecole Hardman, Clyde Edwards-Helaire and George Karlaftis will also appear in the film.

Jason Kelce retired from the NFL earlier this year after 13 brilliant seasons with the Philadelphia Eagles.

Travis Kelce is still with the Chiefs, signing a two-year contract extension worth $34.5 million over the next two years.

The tight end was part of the Chiefs’ success that became a dynasty, with the team winning three Super Bowls in the last five seasons.

And his name has been in the news more than ever since he began a relationship with icon singer Taylor Swift.

Donna admits that the family’s growing fame is something that takes getting used to.

“It was a journey. That’s for sure,” she said.

Sometimes I feel like I’m on some kind of different planet. I’m like, ‘What has my life become?’

“It’s fun to be recognized. Almost everyone is very respectful and very positive.”
