The incident occurred near Los Angeles International Airport.

The Vikings released a statement on Sunday addressing the situation regarding Addison, writing: “We are aware of the arrest of Jordan Addison last Friday and are currently gathering more information regarding the incident.”

On Monday, NFL fans noticed that Addison deleted all Vikings-related posts on Instagram.

And fans think the second-year wide receiver was released by the Vikings after the announcement on social media.

“He got fired wow,” one wrote.

“Damn they released his ass for sure,” added another.

“Are they going to release him?” asked a third.

ESPN reported that a police report revealed that a West Los Angeles police officer found a white Rolls Royce blocking one lane from westbound I-105 to northbound Sepulveda Boulevard.

Addison told the officer he was driving fast because of a medical emergency with his dog.

He pleaded guilty to a minor misdemeanor charge of speeding and paid about $700 in fines.

Addison’s arrest comes weeks before the official start of Vikings training camp on July 27.

He was the 23rd overall pick in last year’s NFL Draft.

Addison appeared in all 17 games for Minnesota last season.

He posted 70 receptions for 911 yards and 10 touchdowns.
