Adams was in the Motor City for a special show with a Detroit Lions legend.

“In Detroit today to hang out with @calvinjohnsonjr and @RandyMoss,” Adams told his 641,000 X followers.

“What is my life?” she added.

Calvin “Megatron” Johnson played all 9 seasons of his NFL career in Detroit, twice leading the NFL in receiving yards and reaching six Pro Bowls.

The pair also joined former NFL touchdown machines Randy Moss and Torry Holt at the Detroit Golf Club in the city’s university district.

Up & Adams broadcast live from outside the clubhouse before Johnson hosted a celebrity golf tournament at the course.

“Your producers are truly some of the best in the game!” replied one fan in response to the change of location.

“Where in Detroit? Any chance of a fan meeting?” pleaded another.

“It’s easy, you’re the GOAT and everyone knows it,” said a third.

“Living your best life Kay, have fun in Detroit today,” a fourth added.

Later in the show, “Megatron” Johnson was emotional as he was honored by his former team.

The Detroit Lions announced Monday the induction of Johnson into the team’s Ring of Honor.

Johnson, 38, wiped tears from her eyes as she shared her reaction to the announcement.

“I’m a whiny man…I got that from my dad,” Johnson said live on Up & Adams.

“It’s a tear-jerker,” Johnson added, as he wiped away a tear.

Career rise of Kay Adams

Kay Adams is a fantasy football expert who rose to fame as the host of Good Morning Football in New York City for six years.

Having previously hosted fantasy-based shows, Adams took on the role of host of GMFB when it launched in 2016.

And, along with Nate Burleson, Kyle Brandt and Peter Schrager, she helped make that program one of the best in the sport.

Adams left GMFB to pursue new ventures in 2022.

She moved to Los Angeles and teamed up with FanDuel to start a self-titled show – Up and Adams.

His latest show airs weekdays at 11 a.m. ET, sometimes in special locations like the Super Bowl or Kentucky Derby.

“I don’t like surprises for that reason. You can take me and my emotions.

“I’ve been to so many cities. Detroit, they have a real fan base.

“Not just for football, but for baseball and hockey.

“They are Detroit fans through and through.

“If you come to this town and get down and work hard, they [will] I love you.”
