KANSAS City Chiefs fans are getting their first look at the team’s newest weapon.
The Chiefs selected Xavier Worthy with the 28th pick in the 2024 NFL Draft.
Worthy is an extremely exciting talent and brings a new level of speed to the Chiefs offense.
Since Tyreek Hill left for the Miami Dolphins, the Chiefs haven’t had a player with true speed.
However, Worthy is instantly one of the fastest players in the NFL, as he set the combined record with a 4.21 second 40-yard dash.
Worthy has arrived at Chiefs training camp and is catching Patrick Mahomes’ first passes.
The Chiefs posted a clip of worthy running routes and posted it on Instagram.
“First, look at these two in action,” they captioned the post.
Fans went crazy over the screening and shared their excitement for the upcoming season in the comments.
“Poetry in motion,” said one fan.

“Man, we’re going to have a great season,” said another fan.
“I was waiting for the worthy content!!!” a third fan said.
“Inject this into my veins,” said a fourth fan.
Mahomes is training alongside Worthy, but made a point of warning that it will be difficult to keep up during his rookie camp.
“There is no flexibility,” Mahomes told Fox Sports.
“He’s going to have to be ready to go. We have a lot of competition in this offense.
“He’s had a lot of mental work these past few weeks during OTAs and minicamp, but it’s time to go now.
“We’re going to push him to the limit and prepare him to be ready for the season.
“That’s not just him. It’s everybody and everybody has to have that mentality when they come into camp.”
Worthy shared that he is up to the task and ready to get to work.
“I definitely feel like there’s no time to alleviate this. Everything is fine,” he said.
