NEW England Patriots quarterback Christian Gonzalez hasn’t forgotten the sacrifices his parents made to get him where he is today.
NFL fans were delighted as the second-year cornerback gifted his parents a new home.
Gonzalez, the Patriots’ 2023 first-round pick, wanted to make sure his parents were set before the start of training camp.
The 22-year-old bought a new house for his mother, Temple, and father, Hector, and showed off his reactions to the gift in a Instagram Reel.
Gonzalez hugged his parents as he told them at the beginning of the clip, “You deserve this and even more.”
His mother entered the residence and opened her mouth in amazement at the property.
She also saw a pool in the big backyard.
Gonzalez and her mother hugged at the end of the video.
The Oregon Ducks product wrote the caption of the Instagram post: “Mom and Dad, I told you when I started this soccer journey at 5 years old I was going to put you in a place you couldn’t even imagine.
“You deserve this and more. I love you! Welcome home!!”

“The goat on and off the field”, commented a third.
Gonzalez was able to use part of his $15 million rookie contract to help his parents.
He is hoping to bounce back after suffering a shoulder injury at the end of last season.
Gonzalez was named Defensive Rookie of the Year for his four total games in September.
During those contests, he recorded 17 total tackles and one interception.
Gonzalez and the Patriots will begin participating in training camp on Wednesday.
New England is coming off a disappointing 4-13 season.
They will be led by new head coach Jerod Mayo, who succeeded the iconic Bill Belichick.
