Aaron Rodgers will be preparing to potentially play his first season with the Jets after last year’s horrible campaign.

The four-time MVP ruptured his Achilles tendon in just four snaps in his Jets debut and had to miss the rest of the season.

Rodgers was rehabilitated and was able to practice just 11 weeks after surgery.

The 40-year-old intends to play his 20th season in the NFL and revealed his plan to win two Super Bowls with New York and retire from the hit podcast Barstool Sports Forgive my opinion.

“I don’t know, I’m not sure,” Rodgers said when asked how many years he has left in the league.

“This one for sure.

“I wanted to do two good ones to give us the chance to retire a Jet and win two Super Bowls.”

Much controversy occurred when Rodgers did not show up for the Jets’ three-day minicamp.

New York coach Robert Saleh called it an “unapproved absence” as the team fined Rodgers for his failure to appear.

He believes the outrage at his absence stems from the “deceiver” language used to describe training camps.

“Now it’s not minicamp, they can arbitrarily put a [mandatory] schedule whatever week of OTAs they want,” Rodgers said.

“This is “minicamp week,” which makes it more mandatory than other weeks, but it is an OTA schedule.

“That’s how words can be a little deceiving. They can tell a story about how I missed minicamp when it was actually two days of OTA.

“I made it to the top 10.”

It was revealed last week that 10-time Pro Bowler Rodgers was in Egypt when he failed to attend mandatory minicamp.

He participated in voluntary OTAs.

Rodgers shared that his surgically repaired Achilles tendon is healed and reading to the training camp.

“I’m running fast,” he said.

Rodgers and the Jets veteran will report to training camp on Tuesday.

The first practice will be on Wednesday at their facility in Florham Park, New Jersey.
