PATRICK Mahomes was surprised to learn that Travis Kelce hasn’t changed his cell phone ringtone in nearly a decade.

The Kansas City Chiefs tight end mocked his teammate for maintaining the same R2-D2 tone since 2015.

Kelce and Mahomes are back at practice ahead of a potentially historic three-peat season.

Away from football, Travis launched a popular podcast, New Heights, with his brother Jason last year.

In a recent episode, former Philadelphia center Jason was looking back at archival footage of Travis from 2015.

During the clip, Travis’ phone rang with the ringtone of a screaming R2-D2 robot from Star Wars.

“That man still has that touch haha,” Mahomes laughed to his 2.6 million X followers, tagging the clip.

“Some things never change,” responded the official New Heights account.

“Don’t hate champion R2-D2!” laughed one fan.

“You don’t pay 99 cents for a touch and then get rid of it,” said another.

“What millennial doesn’t have their phone on silent? @tkelce @newheightshow, I have doubts”, joked a third.

Mahomes and Kelce each won three Super Bowl rings with the Chiefs.

Travis Kelce Reveals Stunning New Look At Kansas City Chiefs Training Camp As Fans Say ‘El Travador Is Back’

Travis returned to training camp on Sunday after a turbulent off-season following girlfriend Taylor Swift on her European tour.

But he looked far from rusty as he wowed the crowd at the Chiefs’ summer training facility with a clutch play on Tuesday.

Star quarterback Mahomes received a number of new weapons ahead of next season.

And he made sure to emphasize to rookie Xavier Worthy that the hard work starts now.

“There’s no easing,” Mahomes told Fox Sports on his first day back at practice.

“[Worthy] You’ll have to be ready to go. We have a lot of competition in this offense.

“We’re going to push him to the limit and prepare him to be ready for the season.

“That’s not just him. It’s everybody and everybody has to have that mentality when they come into camp.”

The Chiefs begin their triple challenge on September 5th.

The Baltimore Ravens are visitors to Arrowhead Stadium as the defending Super Bowl champions begin the new season.
