‘Tom Brady was very angry,’ says Michael Rubin as he sheds light on star-studded 4th of July party beach football game

Retired NFL legend Tom Brady’s competitive nature was demonstrated in a recent football friendly.

The seven-time Super Bowl champion attended a beach on the 4th of July soccer game in the Hamptons before Fanatics CEO Michael Rubin’s well-known White Party.

Rubin appeared in an interview with Bleacher Report’s Taylor Rooks when revealing that Brady was “very angry” about losing the soccer game.

“He was angry, very angry,” the 52-year-old said of Brady’s psyche after the defeat.

“I was also mad because I thought we were going to win.”

Rubin revealed that he was Brady’s first choice for the team and called that decision a “mistake.”

“It’s like when you call up someone wrong,” added the sports businessman.

“Tom drafting me with the first pick was a huge mistake.”

Brady and Rubin’s team included NFL stars Odell Beckham Jr. and Micah Parsons, as well as rapper Travis Scott.

Buffalo Accounts quarterback Damar Hamlin hit Brady for a touchdown during the game, and a clip of the sequence went viral on the Internet.

Rubin shared that the other team, which also featured Houston Texans quarterback CJ Stroud, was ready to take on Brady.

“What I didn’t realize about CJ and Damar is that they said ‘We’re playing f–king Tom Brady,'” Rubin recalled the game.

“’You guys are having fun, we’re coming to kill.’ … I mean, Tom always wants to win in everything he does.

“The other team said ‘This is our chance to really beat Tom Brady.'”

The star-studded white party included celebrities Kim Kardashian, Jay-Z, Drake and Lil Waynebetween others.

The outing also included sports stars James Harden, Devin Booker, Donovan Mitchell, Olivia Dunne and Brady’s former teammate and retiree NFL legend Rob Gronkowski.

Patriots owner Robert Kraft also attended the occasion.

The White Party is an annual celebrity-studded Independence bash that Rubin hosts at his seaside mansion in the Hamptons.

Each partygoer wears white for the ride.

Brady will soon enter his first season as the play-by-play announcer for Fox’s NFL coverage.

He will be the network’s lead analyst alongside commentator Kevin Burkhardt.

Brady signed a 10-year, $375 million broadcast deal with Fox in 2022 while still in the NFL.
