NFL fans were impressed with All-Pro Justin Jefferson’s attitude following his appearance on the Netflix docu-series Receiver.
The 25-year-old Minnesota Vikings wideout was one of five NFL stars featured on the series.
Davante Adams of the Las Vegas Raiders, Amon-Ra St. Brown of the Detroit Lions, along with Deebo Samuel and George Kittle of the San Francisco 49ers also starred.
The show allows fans to see the homes of the stars, with no exception to Jefferson.
However, given that he signed a four-year contract worth $140 million this summer – the richest deal ever given to a non-quarterback – many viewers were surprised to see his home.
A simple house with a two-car garage, viewers were able to see its open kitchen filled with sweets and its cozy living room.
It wasn’t the scale home fans expected, given the scale of Jefferson’s income. He was recently asked to respond to his choice of training camp home.
“I am a person. I don’t have a big family,” Jefferson said.
“I don’t need to be in some $10 million mansion, it’s not something I came from.
“I grew up with parents who were grateful for what they had and I was grateful for what I grew up with.”

And it appears Jefferson has no immediate plans to upgrade to a “mansion,” despite his relatively new lease.
“Maybe I’ll move on to that, maybe I won’t. I guess we’ll find out sooner or later,” he said.
Fans loved Jefferson’s response, with one user X saying, “Humble and hungry. That’s why he’s great!”
“I always loved him. My love became even greater!” she said a second.
“Smart man here,” commented another.
While a fourth added: “Respect for that response and for it being real.”
Jefferson will look to bounce back in 2024 after a somewhat disappointing 2023 season.
